KIDS CLASSES

No way! Martial arts is about peace, harmony and diplomacy. It teaches children how to AVOID fights – not pick them.
Absolutely! In fact, kids usually have to drag their parents to martial arts class – something parents are always shocked to see. We have our serious moments here where kids work and learn… but we have just as many moments where they goof off and have a blast!

We have programs for kids who are 3-4 years old all the way to teenagers. And we even have programs for adults.

So to be honest – every age is appropriate. No child is too young or too old. We have a class that fits just right.

Martial arts are for boys and girls. Our classes have a good mix of both, too. So if you’re worried about your girl being
alone in a group of boys, wipe that worry from your mind!
As a parent, I’m sure you’ve seen that kids can get injured doing just about anything. Martial arts is no different, however we take safety very seriously here. Yes, injuries do sometimes happen. But we do everything in our power to avoid them. We do special exercises and stretches to make your child’s body stronger, limber and flexible.
Yes! In fact, martial arts is often a “home” for kids who don’t excel at team sports. Kids who have trouble in baseball, basketball, etc. often come to martial arts and do extremely well. And it’s okay if your child is not athletic right now.Through our classes, they’ll get in great shape and become very athletic.
Yes! A lot of kids perform their martial arts moves in talent shows and other things. Their friends are always blown away.The positive feedback children receive helps build their self-esteem and confidence. Kids feel good knowing they can do something that’s “cool and special.

ADULT CLASSES

Because we place such a huge focus on safety and injury prevention, we’re proud to say that injuries are very few and far between with our program. In fact, because martial arts gets you in great shape, and makes you strong and flexible, people often see LESS injuries in their lives.

People come to us of all fitness levels. We get natural-born athletes, and we get people who have a harder time with athletic endeavors. However, everyone gets the same focus and attention.

If you’re not in great shape, don’t worry. Go at your own pace, and we’ll do everything we can to help you learn each and every technique. Soon enough, your physical fitness will improve, and you’ll be in better shape than ever!

The self-defense techniques you learn help you become flexible and strong. They help you become confident and proud.

The guiding principles of martial arts help you diffuse situations before violence becomes a part of them. However, if a hostile situation does ever come about, you’ll have the tools you need to keep you and your loved ones safe.

In a nutshell: supportive, fun & focused. Our Martial Arts Classes tend to have a “family-like” vibe. After all, you’re constantly challenging yourself, and striving to be your best in every class. This creates a real sense of camaraderie & team spirit – which is part of the awesome Tae Kwon Do and Judo experience.
Not at all. We have a good blend of competitive guys and gals, hobbyists, and people just looking for a kick-ass workout.
Definitely. Our expert instructors will work with you to strengthen any weaknesses you have, exploit your strengths, improve your physical fitness and master your technique. Your opponents won’t know what hit’em.
Absolutely. And even though it’s a close-contact sport, there’s never any awkwardness or uncomfortableness between genders. Everyone is just focused on having a great training experience. And because you’ll be paired up with people of your skill level and size, gender doesn’t even make a difference.
